ISTANBUL 13th BIENNIAL 2013

Istanbul’s main Arts Festival takes place in a variety of historic buildings and venues across the city. The aim since its foundation in 1987 has been to bring together artists from home and abroad to encourage a free exchange of ideas and inspiration.

TOUR ITINERARY:

Day 01. Arrive to Istanbul.
Meet and greet at Istanbul Ataturk Airport.

Day 02. Istanbul (Istiklal Street – Walking Tour)
Breakfast at the hotel.Meet your guide at 10:00 am depart from the hotel to visit Istiklal Street. The longest pedestrian street of Istanbul where we will visit some great art galleries.
Salt Art Gallery - Arter - NevGallery - PiArtWorks.
Free time for lunch. After lunch, continue to visits Akbank Art Gallery – Pyramid Art.
Before dinner, take a welcome cocktail with your tour guide and talk about Art in Turkey.

Day 03. Istanbul (Nişantaşı & Akaretler street)
Breakfast at the hotel. 10:00 am depart from the hotel to visit the famous art galleries in Nişantaşı and then Akaretler.

Free time for lunch. Continue to Akaretler and visit;
Galerist - C.A.M Art – Rampa Art

Day 04. Istanbul (Tophane – Modern Art Museum – Biennial)
Breakfast at the hotel.10:00 am depart from the hotel to Tophane. Visit the beautiful mosque of Kılıç Ali Pasha then Mana Art Gallery – PG Art Gallery
Free time for lunch at Modern Art Museum and free time to visit the museum.
After lunch, walk to Biennial exhibitions and admire all exhibitons until the end of the day. Return back to the hotel.

Day 05. Istanbul (Historical Istanbul Tour)
Breakfast at the hotel. 09:00 am depart from the hotel to discover the Byzantine and Ottoman treasures of Istanbul. Walk along the Hippodrome Square and visit th Islamic Art Museum the Blue Mosque known for the color of the interior decoration and unique with its six minarets.Then Haghia Sophia Museum, the 6th century Basilica which was the largest building of the world for a thousand years. Visit the Topkapi Palace, once the Imperial Residence of the Ottoman Sultans, displaying priceless world class collections of artifacts, jeweler and rare porcelains.

Day 06. Istanbul (Bosphorus & Asia) Santral Istanbul
After the breakfast departure from the hotel at 09:00 am. Visit the 17th century Spice Market. Then, regular boat tour on Bosphorus. After the boat tour continue to Asian side of the city. Visit the Camlıca Hill with an extraordinary wiev of the city. Finish the day at Santral Istanbul offers local and overseas visitors a diversity of attractions to discover all at once. Exhibitions, arts and cultural events and activities, training and educational programmes, concerts, meetings and conferences are all housed under the Santralistanbul roof, but in a diversity of spaces designed specifically to reflect their range and purpose.

Day 07. Istanbul Airport
Transfer to airport. End of our services.
